INFORMATION ON ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT

The following notice is aimed at private end users who use electrical and/or electronic devices.

In connection with the distribution of batteries or the delivery of devices containing batteries, we are obliged to point out the following to you: As an end user, you are legally obliged to return used batteries and must collect them separately from unsorted municipal waste. After use, you can return batteries to us or to the designated collection points (e.g. municipal collection points or retailers) free of charge. You can also send the batteries back to us by post. Please make sure to use sufficient postage.

If you have old devices with old batteries or old accumulators that are not enclosed in the old device, you must separate them from the device before handing them over to a collection point. This does not apply if the old devices are separated from other old devices by the public waste disposal authorities for the purpose of preparing them for reuse in order to prepare them for reuse.

Batteries containing pollutants are marked with a symbol consisting of a crossed-out garbage can and the chemical symbol (Cd, Hg or Pb) of the heavy metal that determines the classification as containing pollutants.

You can use the symbol below - crossed out garbage can - to identify old devices that should be disposed of separately from unsorted municipal waste:
